INSTRUCTIONS for applying the iron-on transfers to fabric
- You will need an iron and an ironing board.
- Please check that your fabric is heat resistant, clean, smooth and ironed!
- Position your textile on the ironing board and then place the iron-on image with the adhesive side facing down on the desired part of the textile.
- It is recommended to set the dry iron without steam at a temperature of 130ºC/270ºF to 150ºC/300ºF (cotton setting).
- Iron the label on with firm pressure for a maximum of 8 to 12 seconds. Make sure to keep the iron steady!
- Allow the label and fabric to cool completely. This should ideally take one to two minutes. Cooling will ensure that the label adheres securely to the fabric.
- Once the label has cooled, carefully peel off the backing film. If part of the design is still stuck to the film, put the film back on and repeat steps 5 and 6.
- It is recommended to wait at least 24 hours before washing or moistening the iron-on transfer. This ensures that the adhesive has completely hardened on the textile.
TIP! This way your iron-on transfers will stay beautiful for many years.
- Turn inside out and wash on a gentle cycle at a temperature below 40 degrees.
- Avoid using a tumble dryer and air dry the textiles instead.
- Do not iron directly on the print to avoid damage.
- The labels should be protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Be aware of certain areas of the fabric that are subject to heavy wear and tear in everyday life, as these can be damaged more quickly.
